All Nigerians living in Canada, both adults and children, can apply for a NIN.

• A Nigerian Passport (valid or expired)
• Certificate of Birth (Attestation) issued by Nigeria Population Commission (Adult- 18 years old and above)
• Birth Registration Certificate (Minor born in Nigeria)
• Birth Notification Service (Minor born outside Nigeria)

During enrollment, we will collect your biometrics, such as fingerprints and a photo of your face.

Once you finish enrollment, you will get your National Identification Number. Keep it safe, as you will need it for many Nigerian government and financial services.
